Western Blot – Screening Antibodies for their ability to detect linear epitopes

Screening Human antibodies against Staphylococcus Aureus Toxin LukAB for reactivity by western blot. LukAB toxin was denatured prior to SDS-PAGE analysis. An anti-human Fc detecting secondary antibody conjugated to horseradish peroxidase (HRP) was used for detection of primary antibodies. These reagents were further used as reagents for identity assays required for vaccine manufacturing.
