By leveraging our vivarium, we can perform your in vivo studies, and then perform sample analysis using the serology assays that we have developed for your project, ensuring a consistent, efficient, and cost effective process.
Assays are developed using best practices that will allow them to be adapted for GLP use in the future. IBT Bioservices can source or develop the critical reagents necessary for your assays. To ensure data integrity, we perform double documentation QC for all assays. Through our network of partners, we can transition your studies to be run under GLP as needed.

Immunogenicity Testing
The introduction of therapeutic proteins into the body can result in the development of anti-drug antibodies (ADA). These antibodies can cause induction of autoimmunity, reduction in efficacy and allergic or anaphylactic shock. At IBT Bioservices we have developed a variety of assay formats for the detection of an antibody response.
These formats allow for:
- Screening – Are antibodies present in the sample?
- Confirmation – Are they specific?
- Isotyping – What type(s) of antibodies are present?
- Neutralizing activity – Do the antibodies interfere with binding events?
